CIWebDesign.com (Creative Impressions Web Design) is a freelance design company started in 1999 in response to people asking for design services.

CIWebDesign is currently located in Southern Connecticut. Work is typically done in conjunction with ALTS.net in providing web design and hosting services as well as computer networking and maintenance. In terms of the design, the primary focus is determining what best suits the customer. Designs are never “reused” or gone about with a “cookie cutter” effect. All designs are initially developed in either Adobe Photoshop CS or Adobe Illustrator CS. Once a design is agreed upon, the design is coded into HTML using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX2004. Macromedia Flash 2004 MX options are also available.

About myself - I have a rather unusual background for doing web design. Despite having a long interest in photography and graphic design, I graduated from the University of Arizona in 1993 with a BS in Engineering Mathematics and Nuclear Engineering. From 1993-1997 I was an officer in the US Navy and taught Calculus, Differential Equations and Nuclear Physics at the Navy Nuclear Power School. In 1997, I was honorably discharged from the Navy and decided to become a stay at home mom. I have since expanded my graphic art, photography, web site and computer (PC) experience.
